How it works

A targeted treatment

Using a high volume and velocity of cold air, the thermal shock to the treated area can be applied without any risk of frostbite or other side effects. Since only one area is being targeted with these extreme temperatures at a time, the applicator can be applied for longer, resulting in a deeper, more effective treatment.

Body repair

A cold stream of nitrogen vapour is applied to your affected body part, constricting the blood vessels and immediately decreasing inflammation, swelling and pain by flushing the tissue of fluid and waste.

The production of collagen is also increased in the area being targeted, which causes the skin to appear smoother with less visible cellulite.

How long does this treatment last?

The duration of this treatment is 10 minutes.

What body parts can be treated with localised cryotherapy?

Almost any part of your body can be treated with cryotherapy, with the most common areas being the neck, upper back, lower back, shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, hip and ankle.

How many treatments do I need before I see results?

This is dependent on the severity of the symptoms before any treatment. Pain relief and reduction of inflammation is instant, but it may take a few sessions to improve skin conditions or visibly reduce fat.

Is localised cryotherapy right for me?

The treatment is a convenient and effective solution for treating various symptoms and conditions in a particular area of the body. For example, skin disorders, joint pain, such as arthritis, sports injuries and muscle pain, or areas that have recently undergone surgery. Localised cryotherapy is also a more cost-effective and non-invasive solution for cellulite reduction in specific trouble areas, compared to treatments such as liposuction.
